A pair of quick updates for Friday morning:
- South Carolina science fiction author T.C. McCarthy will be on WUNC's "The State of Things" today at 12 pm to talk about his Subterrene War series, in advance of his joint reading with Virginia fantasy author Michael J. Sullivan on Sunday at Flyleaf Books from 2 to 4 pm.
- Tonight, the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences is hosting a screening of three short films based on the late Ray Bradbury’s work. The event starts at 5, with the films starting at 7.
